Ethics of Responsibility and the Shame of Zionismby Dr. Zerroukhi Djeradji

The book addresses the following issues: Is this philosophical perspective proposed by Levinas specific to Western societies in their dealings with Jewish minorities, or should it be a universal perspective for all peoples? Should we give weight to every face, or does the Palestinian lack a face? Why does this philosophy remain silent in the face of the Palestinian who is mercilessly exterminated in his own land every day?

Jacqueline Rose, unlike Levinas, did not remain silent on this matter but acknowledged that the Zionist movement is hostile to the ethics of responsibility and otherness. She pointed out that Palestinians were killed, disrespected, and exterminated, and that they were subjected to cruelty.
