The National Afforestation Campaign
On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, observed annually on February 18, and coinciding with the launch of the National Tree-Planting Campaign (5 Million Trees Initiative), a tree-planting campaign was launched today, Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the institute under the slogan “One Tree for Each Student.”
The campaign saw participation from various members of the institute, including professors, staff, employees, and students. Despite the unstable weather conditions and strong winds, a large number of trees were planted, and the activity is set to continue in the future.
