Training day for prospective doctoral candidates in the English Language Department preparing for the doctoral competition

A training day was organized for prospective doctoral candidates in the English Language Department preparing for the doctoral competition. The training day included a variety of activities, purposeful discussions, practical examples of model answers for doctoral competition questions, as well as psychological and emotional preparation to alleviate anxiety and stress among some students.

Dr. Cherif Iman delivered a detailed presentation on effective revision methods and efficient preparation for the competition. Dr. Amrouche Fawzia, Head of Foreign Languages Field at the faculty of letters and languages, made a notable impact with her intervention during the training day. Additionally, invited doctoral students shared their success stories, addressing questions and concerns from the students.

It was noteworthy that students from all levels (undergraduate and master’s) and various disciplines beyond the English Language Department attended. Interested students from different universities across neighboring and distant states, as well as both recent and former master’s graduates, also participated in the event
