The Director of the Institute of Urban Techniques Management, Professor Rdjem Ali, along with the Deputy Director in charge of Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Hadj Hafssi Lahcen, inaugurated a chess tournament this morning, February 3, 2026, in the library’s reading room. The competition among the institute’s students was fierce, characterized primarily by sportsmanship and a spirit of camaraderie. The winners of the top prizes were awarded: Saada Haitham and Bakhti Abdel Nour. Certificates and medals were distributed to all participants by the Deputy Director in charge of Student Affairs, Dr. Barakat Zain Al-Abidin, and the Head of the Construction Project Management Department, Dr. Aarab Walid.
