Faculty of Sciences at the University of M’sila Organizes a Tree-Planting Campaign on the Occasion of Martyrs’ Day within the National “Five Million Trees” Initiative

On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, observed on 18 February 2026, and as part of active participation in the national tree-planting initiative “Five Million Trees”, the Faculty of Sciences at the University of M’sila organized a tree-planting campaign this morning within the faculty premises.
This environmental initiative was carried out under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Rabah Bounar, with broad participation from faculty members, administrative staff, students, as well as members of the Green Club.

This action forms part of a civic-oriented academic vision aimed at promoting environmental sustainability values, raising awareness of the role of tree planting in improving the quality of the university environment, and contributing to climate change mitigation efforts, in line with national strategies for environmental protection and sustainable development.
