Awareness Campaign on the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of M’Sila, in coordination with the sub-cell for Quality Assurance, organized an awareness day regarding the ISO 9001:2015 quality standards. The event took place at the “Abdelhamid Ben Badis” lecture hall.
Key Highlights of the Event:

Supervision: The opening ceremony was overseen by Professor Rehab Mokhtar, Dean of the Faculty, representing the University Rector. Attendees included the Secretary-General of the Faculty, Vice-Deans, Heads of Departments, and Professor Imane Cheriet (Member of the Central Quality Assurance Cell).

Objectives: Professor Rehab Mokhtar emphasized the faculty’s commitment to meeting quality standards under the leadership of University Rector, Professor Amar Boudelaa. This includes aligning service quality with pedagogical, scientific, and administrative standards to create an environment conducive to scientific research and self-evaluation.
Presentations and Workshops
The event featured several specialized interventions:

Professor Samira Bouznad: Presented on the concept of quality assurance in higher education, its requirements, and its positive impact on university life.

Professor Ismahan Mohamadi: Discussed the seven principles of Comprehensive Quality Management (ISO 9001) in detail, presenting modern models for quality in higher education.

Professor Aroussi Younes: Focused on the role of the “Diligent Student” within the quality management system and the expectations placed upon them.

Interactive Sessions: Dr. Chikhi (Member of the Quality Cell) presented a digital survey to measure student awareness of the quality system. The day also included intellectual competitions, a video presentation on quality applications, and an open discussion between students and organizers.
