Establishment of the Smart Systems and Advanced Materials for Engineering and Environment Research Laboratory at the Faculty of Technology and Election of Its Director
As part of the Faculty of Technology’s commitment to strengthening scientific research and developing its research structures, the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Abdelkader Djerad, chaired a meeting dedicated to the election of the Director of the Smart Systems and Advanced Materials for Engineering and Environment Research Laboratory.
This newly established research laboratory represents a valuable addition to the Faculty’s research infrastructure and reflects the institution’s strategic commitment to fostering innovation, promoting scientific excellence, and enhancing research activities in areas of significant academic and technological importance.
During the meeting, Professor Belal Atallah was elected as the Director of the laboratory, becoming the first director of this promising scientific institution. The laboratory is dedicated to advancing research in the fields of smart systems and advanced materials, as well as their applications in engineering and environmental sciences.
This appointment marks an important step in the development of the laboratory and is expected to contribute significantly to the promotion of innovative research and interdisciplinary collaboration within the Faculty of Technology.
