The Faculty of Letters and Languages organizes a welcome and orientation meeting for first-year Bachelor’s students (Baccalaureate Class of 2026).
The Faculty of Letters and Languages at Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’Sila organized a welcome and orientation event for new students enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor’s program (holders of the 2026 Baccalaureate). The event aimed to support the students and facilitate their integration into university and academic life.
The reception and orientation activities were conducted according to an organized pedagogical schedule, utilizing the following venues:
* Amphitheater No. 01: Reception and orientation for students in the field of Arabic Language and Literature.
* Amphitheater No. 04: Reception and orientation for students in the field of Foreign Languages.
The meeting was attended by a distinguished group of academic and administrative staff, led by:
* Prof. Dr. Nourredine Chikouche, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs.
* Prof. Dr. Lakhdar Henni, Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Languages.
* Vice-Deans, Heads of Departments, and Field Coordinators (Arabic Language and Literature; Foreign Languages).
* Professors responsible for academic tracks and specializations.
The meeting program included:
* Welcoming new students: Providing general guidance emphasizing discipline and diligence, and encouraging students to make the most of the academic and library facilities available at the Faculty and the University. * Explanation of the LMD system: A comprehensive pedagogical presentation outlining the system’s philosophy, its fundamental mechanisms (semester structure, educational units, coefficients, and accumulated credits), as well as the procedures for assessment, academic progression, and advancement.
* Q&A Session: Addressing students’ inquiries regarding academic organization, group allocation, and timetables.
The meeting concluded with warm congratulations to the new students on passing their Baccalaureate exams and joining the university community, wishing them a successful academic journey marked by excellence and achievement.
