International Conference on the Impact of the Accounting Environment on the Quality of Financial Reports and Statements
M’sila University, represented by the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Commercial, and Management Sciences, and the accredited PRFU University Training Research Unit, in collaboration with the Laboratory of Economic Strategies and Policies in Algeria, organized the International Conference on the Impact of the Accounting Environment on the Quality of Financial Reports and Statements for Algerian Economic Institutions: Requirements for Developing and Harmonizing Accounting, Auditing, and Tax Practices. The conference took place on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, in Abdelmajid Alaham Lecture Hall at the university’s downtown campus, starting at 9:00 AM.
The conference was attended by:

- Secretary-General of the National Accounting Council
- President of the National Board of Chartered Accountants
- President of the National Taxation Council
- President of the National Chamber of Accountants
- President of the National Organization of Certified Accountants
- Professors from various Algerian universities
- Faculty members of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Commercial, and Management Sciences
- International remote presenters
- Members of the university community
The conference witnessed numerous presentations from within and outside Algeria, including a presentation by Dr. Khalid Al Hassini of the University of Portsmouth, UK.
In addition to the presentations, the conference also featured a ceremony to honor the guests, and commemorative photos were taken for the international event.
