The Department of Agricultural Sciences (Faculty of Science) organised an international symposium on: Steppe Ecosystem Conservation and Development on 14, 15 and 16 March 2010.
This symposium was dedicated to studying and analysing the challenges related to the conservation and development of the steppe ecosystem. This delicate ecosystem is facing major threats due to climate change and human activity, which calls for sustainable actions to preserve it.
