UNESCO-Al Fozan International Prize for Encouraging Young Scientists in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

Call for nominations for the 12th session of the UNESCO-Alfozan Prize for Youth in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) 2024 is now open.

Established by UNESCO’s Executive Board, the Prize is awarded every two years to five young talents under the age of 40 from each of UNESCO’s five geographical regions, in recognition of their contributions to research, education or collaboration.

  • The winners receive 50,000 $ US to support their careers and the wider dissemination of their ideas.
  • The deadline for submission of nominations is 15 April 2025.
