On Monday morning, December 16, 2024, the activities of the International Forum on Natural Hazards, Green Regions Management and Analysis Tools – Advantages of Artificial Intelligence were launched at the Ibn Al-Haytham Lecture Hall at the University Pole – University of M’sila. Organized by the Laboratory of the City Environment, Irrigation and Sustainable Development – University of M’sila in cooperation with the Research Center for Regional Planning in Constantine and with the participation of researchers from several European and Arab countries such as: Romania, Italy, France, Belgium, Sultanate of Oman, Tunisia. The forum was inaugurated by the Director of the University of M’sila, Professor “Amar Boudalaa”, in the presence of the Vice-Director of the University for Higher Education in the Third Phase, University Qualification, Scientific Research and Higher Education after Graduation, Professor “Mahmoud Hasbaya” and the President of the Forum, Professor “Rajem Ali”. The opening ceremony was also attended by the deans of faculties, directors of institutes and professors and researchers from various universities of the country in addition to students.
The first session witnessed the presentation of valuable interventions by:

Pr. André OZER “Du Machrek in Maghreb: 30 years of cooperation and research. Appearances of teledetection”.
Pr. Mahmoud HASBAIA “Problem of inundation and transport of sediments in the context of climate change-caused by the Hodna basin”.
During the opening ceremony, the university director, Professor “Amar Boudalaa”, supervised the honoring of the governor of the state and the researchers “Pr. Florina GRECU” from Belgium and “Pr. André OZER” from Romania.
