Information Week on Ministerial Decision No. 205 Concerning Student-Athletes

As part of the information week dedicated to explaining and supporting students with regard to the provisions of Ministerial Decision No. 205 concerning student-athletes, the activities of this week were officially launched at the Saïd Ammar Lecture Hall of the Institute, under the supervision of the Rector of the University, Professor Ammar Boudlaâ.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Aïd Lamine, Vice-Rector of the University in charge of Student Activities; Professor Hamlaoui Amer, Director of the Institute; Mr. Abdelkader Lekraa, Director of University Activities; as well as department heads, heads of student activities services, and a number of students.

The meeting began with a welcoming address delivered by the Vice-Rector, who welcomed the attendees and officially announced the launch of the Information Week.

The Director of the Institute then delivered a lecture addressing the main provisions and regulations set forth in Ministerial Decision No. 205. The presentation provided clarification on the various procedures and facilities available to student-athletes and addressed the main questions and concerns related to this regulatory framework.

The Deputy Director of Activities also provided an overview of the new digital platform dedicated to university student-athletes, which was officially launched by the Vice-Rector.

The activities of this Information Week will continue throughout the week, with the aim of raising awareness of the various rights and benefits granted to student-athletes, providing support and guidance to student-athletes, and introducing the mechanisms designed to support and promote their academic and athletic careers.
