Call for Applications for the National Competition to Select the Best Doctoral Student Projects 2023/2024
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces a competition to select the top three doctoral projects, in celebration of National Student Day on May 19, 2024.
Participation Requirements:
– The student must be duly enrolled in a doctoral program for the academic year 2023/2024.
– The research topic must fall within one of the three national strategic axes: Energy Security, Food Security, or Public Health.
– The student must not have defended their thesis before April 18, 2024 (the last date for submitting applications).
– The student must have at least one publication of category B indexed in the SCOPUS database.
Evaluation Process:
– Files will be assessed by a committee formed within each university institution.
– Institutions will send the top three files to regional seminars for regional evaluation.
– Subsequently, a national evaluation will be conducted to select the top three projects.
Application Submission Period:
From Sunday, April 7, to Thursday, April 18, 2024.
How to Apply:
– Applications must be submitted to the highest level of the faculty before April 18, 2024.
– Applications must be accompanied by all digital files containing supporting documents for the projects.
Awards:
– Winning students will be honored during a ceremony organized on National Student Day.
