Inauguration and Opening of the Medical Annex at M’sila University
On Wednesday morning, September 27, 2023, the Governor of M’sila Province, Mr. Noureddine Tayar, presided over the opening ceremony of the M’sila Medical Annex at the Ibn Al-Haytham Grand Lecture Hall, starting at 9:00 AM. The ceremony was attended by the University President, Professor Amar Boudelaa, the university community of M’sila University, the provincial authorities of the province, and the Health Directorate of the province.
After listening to verses from the Holy Quran and standing for the national anthem, a welcoming speech was delivered by the University President, Professor Amar Boudjelaa. In his speech, he highlighted the new training programs and specializations that have been strengthened by M’sila University for this season, which are for the benefit of the residents of the province and are expected to support the province from the socio-economic side, such as the Medical Annex, and to train 218 students for three years.
Afterwards, a speech was delivered by the Governor of M’sila Province, Mr. Noureddine Tayar, who praised the efforts made to open the Medical Annex, which is one of 13 annexes across the country, considering it an addition to Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’sila. He announced its official opening and pledged to continue efforts to select the land for the construction of a university hospital in the province as soon as possible, in support of the development of the annex of the Faculty of Medicine at the university in the future.
Afterwards, the attendees headed to inaugurate the Medical Annex, which is located at the Faculty of Sciences, by the Governor and his accompanying delegation. A model lecture was then delivered to the students of the annex by university lecturers at the end of the opening ceremony.
