
Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’Sila Launches its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan with the Participation of Representatives from Ten National Universities
On the evening of Monday, July 13, 2026, Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’Sila officially launched its Strategic Plan for the 2026–2030 period. The launch ceremony was held under the supervision of the University Rector, Professor Ammar Boudelaa, and with the participation of rectors and representatives from ten national higher education institutions. Participating institutions included the universities of Djelfa, Bouira, Constantine 1, Constantine 2, Constantine 3, Emir Abdelkader University of Islamic Sciences in Constantine, Biskra, and Bordj Bou Arréridj, alongside the Barika University Center and the Higher School of Teachers (ENS) of Bou Saâda.
The ceremony took place at the Ibn Al-Haytham Grand Lecture Hall at the university campus, in the presence of the vice-rectors, the secretary-general, deans of faculties, directors of the two institutes, the directors of university social services (Center and Campus branches), heads of monitoring cells and interfaces, as well as members of the academic community and social partners.
The event commenced with the screening of a documentary video highlighting the key achievements of the University of M’Sila during the 2025–2026 academic year, showcasing successful projects and initiatives in the fields of pedagogical training, scientific research, innovation, and community engagement. Following this, Dr. Imène Cheriet, Coordinator of the Strategic Plan Drafting Committee, delivered a detailed presentation outlining the university’s vision and major strategic objectives for the 2026–2030 period. Her presentation also addressed the mechanisms for field implementation and key performance indicator (KPI) monitoring, designed to enhance the quality of education and scientific research, while promoting digitalization, international openness, innovation, entrepreneurship, and university governance.
Furthermore, the stage of the Ibn Al-Haytham Hall hosted interventions by the participating university rectors and representatives. They commended the comprehensive content of the plan and praised the initiative of Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’Sila, hailing its leadership in strategic planning and its forward-looking vision for the future of the Algerian university.
In a related context, the visiting delegation conducted a field tour of several scientific and innovative facilities at the university. This included visits to the Industrial Laboratory, the Biological and Health Laboratory, the Business Incubator, and the Entrepreneurship House (Maison de l’Entrepreneuriat), where they were briefed on various student innovations, creative models, and viable, market-ready projects.
The 2026–2030 Strategic Plan of the University of M’Sila serves as an integrated roadmap aimed at elevating academic, research, and administrative performance. It consolidates the university’s position as a knowledge-producing institution, a hub for innovation, and an active partner in achieving local and national sustainable development.
