The Faculty of Sciences at Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’Sila organized an awareness day on the Quality Management System under the ISO 9001:2015 standard, led by the Quality Assurance Cell, under the slogan: “Quality Today… Excellence Tomorrow.”
The event took place at the lobby of the Pedagogical Complex of Material Sciences (B) and the Pedagogical Complex of Natural and Life Sciences (D), as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen quality culture and promote continuous improvement within higher education institutions.
This awareness initiative aimed to familiarize students with the principles of quality management and the importance of implementing international quality standards in academic institutions. Students were welcomed and provided with detailed answers to their questions regarding the ISO 9001:2015 standard and quality management practices.
The event also provided an opportunity to discuss students’ suggestions and perspectives concerning the improvement of pedagogical and administrative services within the faculty, encouraging active student participation in the university’s quality enhancement process.
In addition, informational brochures were distributed to students, highlighting the objectives and benefits of quality management systems in higher education, particularly in improving institutional performance, academic training quality, administrative efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
ISO 9001:2015 is recognized as one of the most widely adopted international standards for quality management systems, focusing on performance improvement, user satisfaction, and the establishment of a sustainable culture of evaluation and continuous development.
Through such awareness activities, the Faculty of Sciences reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence, institutional development, and the promotion of quality standards within the university environment.
