The Local University Sports Qualifiers Begin at the University of M’sila
Yesterday, the Deputy Rector of the University in charge of Scientific Research, Professor Mahmoud HASBAYA, representing the University Rector, along with the Secretary-General, Mr. Ali ALLAL, oversaw the opening of the local university sports qualifiers. The event saw the attendance:
- The Deputy Director of the University for Development.
- The Dean of the Faculty of Law.
- The Deputy sectional director of Activities.
- The Secretary-General of the Faculty of Law.
- The Head of the Sports Activities Department at the Sub-Directorate of Activities – University of M’sila.
- Heads of the Activities Departments from the Faculties of Technology, Law, Mathematics, and Economic Sciences.
The opening signal was given with the first volleyball match held in the multipurpose hall of the Faculty of Law, where the Urban Techniques Management Institute team defeated the Faculty of Economic Sciences team 2-0. In football, the Faculty of Law and Political Science team claimed victory over the Faculty of Economic Sciences team with a score of 3-2. Meanwhile, the Urban Techniques Management Institute team won by forfeit against the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science team, with a score of 3-0.
On the second day, volleyball competitions saw the Faculty of Law and Political Science team defeating the STAPS team 2-0. In football, the Institute of Science and Techniques of Physical and Sports Activities team beat the Faculty of Technology team 4-1.
It is worth noting that these qualifiers are part of the celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the glorious outbreak of the Algerian Revolution and are aligned with efforts to promote and develop university sports at M’sila. Glorious November… Loyalty and Renewal
