The University of M’Sila Celebrates National Student Day with Wilaya Authorities, Security Forces, and the University Community
This morning, the University of M’Sila Mohamed BOUDIAF celebrated National Student Day, observed annually on May 19th. The festivities were presided over by the Wali of the wilaya, Mr. Nadjm Eddine TAYAR, at the Student Square on the university campus, in the presence of the president of the Wilaya Popular Assembly, security authorities, executive bodies, and the university community.
The ceremony began with a minute of silence in tribute to the martyrs, followed by the raising of the national flag. A student then read the 1956 declaration of the General Union of Algerian Muslim Students.
The delegation visited a historical photo exhibition illustrating the achievements of Algerian students during the liberation war. They also toured an exhibition of creations by students from the University of M’Sila, organized by the university’s incubator, where the Wali listened to students presenting their work.
The celebration concluded with the awarding of prizes to the winning clubs in various competitions and the clubs participating in the ceremony.
In his speech, the Wali congratulated the students on their national day, encouraging them to be worthy successors of their illustrious predecessors.
