Opening ceremony for the university year 2026-2027

The governor of the state of M’sila, Mr. Najm al-Din Tayyar, gave the signal for the start of the new academic year at the University of Mohammed Boudiaf of M’sila, in the Grand Lecture Hall of Ibn al-Haytham at the university pole, in the presence of civil, security and military state authorities, representatives of parliament in its two chambers, deputy rectors of the university, the secretary-general, façade directors, directors of university services in M’sila central and pole, along with deans of faculties and directors of institutes, heads of departments and directors of research laboratories, the university family of professors, employees and students, with the presence of Distinctive for representatives of the media community and civil society activities. The opening ceremony carried aspirations to enhance the quality of training, develop digitization, and link scientific research to the needs of society and the requirements of development.

The ceremony began with a follow-up of the official opening remotely from the University of Mohammed Siddiq Ben Yahya in Jijel, where the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Kamal Badari, gave the signal for the start of the new university year, in the presence of the presidents of the universities of the East, including the director of the University of Mohammed Boudiaf of M’sila, Professor Ammar Boudalaa, along with a number of ministry officials.

During the ceremony hosted by Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’sila, the university’s deputy director in charge of scientific research, Professor Mahmoud Hasbaya, gave a presentation on the statistics for the new university year, in which he reviewed the various data related to university admission. The ministerial speech delivered by the Head of the Department of Media and Communication, Professor Yousfi Abdel-Aali, also focused on the university’s role as a tributary of development and an incubator of competencies and ideas, with an emphasis on placing the student at the heart of university transformation, by providing an integrated environment for learning, research and innovation, in addition to cultural and sporting activities. The speech also stressed the importance of moving towards a fourth-generation university, employing artificial intelligence, supporting entrepreneurship and business incubators, as well as valuing the outputs of scientific research and transforming knowledge into a tangible economic and social impact.
