The Faculty’s Participation in the University Program Organized in Coordination with the Sub-Directorate for Activities
In commemoration of the spirit of the glorious 1st of November, and as part of the ongoing celebrations marking the 72nd anniversary of the outbreak of the triumphant Liberation Revolution (1954–2026), the Faculty of Arts and Languages—represented by the Department of Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities, headed by Ms. Ismahane Brabah, and with the active and significant participation of the Faculty’s “Ahmed Nouiwat” Club—made a notable and distinguished contribution on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. This took place within the framework of a university-wide program organized in coordination with the Sub-Directorate for Activities, in effective partnership with the Central Library, represented by its Chief Librarian.
The Faculty’s participation was enriched by a diverse array of cultural and intellectual activities that embodied the sanctity of this historic occasion and its enduring message. Key highlights included:
* ♟️ An Intellectual Chess Competition: Sophisticated, strategic matches held on the chessboard, bringing together a select group of students from various faculties in a competitive atmosphere that sharpened the mind and showcased a high spirit of sportsmanship.
* 🖼️ An Exhibition on Memory and History: A rich, documentary space featuring a valuable collection of rare photographs and historical records that bear witness to the epic feats and heroism of the glorious 1st of November Revolution.
* 🎨 Live Visual Art (Real-time Painting on Canvas): A creative display where students painted directly before the audience, producing expressive artworks that brought to life the sacrifices of the martyrs and the journey toward national liberation. The event took place in the presence of high-ranking officials, led by the University Rector, Professor Ammar Boudlaa; the University Secretary-General; the Vice-Rector for External Relations; and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Languages, Professor Lakhdar Henni. The Dean followed the proceedings closely, offering encouragement and motivation to the students, while highlighting the profound impact of cultural and student-led initiatives in refining talents, fostering historical awareness, and nurturing creative potential across various fields.
The activities also saw an excellent turnout from deans, faculty members, and a large number of students—a collective gathering that reflected a deep sense of fraternity and the spirit of synergy among all members of the university community.
This commemorative occasion culminated in an academic and intellectual symposium that explored the dimensions and significance of the triumphant Liberation Revolution, as well as the national messages it conveys to future generations.
On this momentous occasion, the Faculty extends its deepest gratitude and appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this joyful academic and national event. We would like to specifically acknowledge:
* Ms. Ismahane Barabeh, Head of the Department of Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities at the Faculty of Arts and Languages.
* The members and students of the “Ahmed Nouiouat” Club for their tireless efforts and commendable participation.
* The Director of the Central Library and their administrative staff for their fruitful partnership and exceptional coordination.
* The Sub-Director for Activities and all those who assisted in organizing and facilitating these events.
Glory and immortality to our righteous martyrs; long live Algeria—free, independent, and proud. May you continue to be a source of support for the university, and may the Mohamed Boudiaf University of M’Sila remain a beacon of knowledge, creativity, and contribution.
