Sub-Cell for Quality Assurance – STAPS

Introduction to the Sub-Cell:
The Sub-Cell for Quality Assurance is a body composed of professors and staff members recognized for their competence and commitment to pedagogical and organizational aspects at the institute, in addition to two students from the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. It operates as a sub-unit of the University’s Quality Assurance Cell.

Tasks of the Sub-Cell:
The main tasks of the Sub-Cell focus on conducting all internal auditing and evaluation activities in the following areas:

1. Education Field: Focuses on the quality of the teaching process, from program and curriculum design to teaching methods and student evaluation.

2. Scientific Research Field: Measures the effectiveness of research activities at the institute, including scientific output (articles, patents) and its development.

3. Governance Field: Concerns the efficiency of administration and management within the institute, including leadership, administrative organization, and the use of financial and human resources.

4. Infrastructure Field: Assesses the adequacy and quality of the institute’s physical resources, such as buildings, laboratories, libraries, and equipment to support education and research.

5. University Life Field: Focuses on the quality of student life and all services provided to them, from admission and guidance to support and facilities.

6. Community and Socio-Economic Engagement Field: Measures the institute’s role in serving its socio-economic environment and promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.

7. Cooperation Field: Evaluates the institute’s openness to national and international environments through partnerships and academic and student exchange agreements.
