Conclusion of the Field Training Course on News Reporting and “Portrait” Features
The second and final day of the field training course on Producing News Reports and Portraits has concluded. This program was designed for Second-Year Master’s students (Audiovisual Stream) in Bou Saâda. The event was organized by the Department of Media and Communication Sciences under the supervision of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of M’Sila, in coordination with the Directorate of Youth and Sports of Bou Saâda Province and the Youth Activities Association of the “Mouufdi Zakaria” Youth Center.
Key Highlights of the Second Day:

Technical Workshops: The session focused on editing, voice-over commentary, and montage techniques for the footage and photos captured by students during the first day’s field assignments.

Supervision: The training was led by a team of academic and professional experts:

Academic Supervisors: Prof. Zouaoui Ahmed El Mehdi, Prof. Ferzouli Mokhtar, and Prof. Yousfi Abdelali.

Technical Experts: Professional photographer Abdelghani Latrech, along with trainers Mechiche Mostafa and Tafi Ibtissem from the Directorate of Youth and Sports.

Learning Outcomes: Students underwent hands-on training covering the entire production process of a report—from the initial concept to final execution.
Closing Ceremony: The course concluded with a ceremony honoring the participants. The event was attended by the Director of Youth and Sports for Bou Saâda Province and the Head of the Media and Communication Sciences Department at the University of M’Sila.
