The day’s activities were titled “Historique et cartographie du risque d’inondation :Cas de L’Ouest Algerien” (Historique et cartographie du risque d’inondation :Cas de L’Ouest Algerien).

In order to revitalize the learning environment and broaden students’ knowledge in their field of study, the Institute of Urban Technology Management, in coordination with the City, Environment, Irrigation, and Sustainable Development Laboratory, organized a study day on Sunday, May 3, 2026. The event, held under the supervision of the Institute’s Director, Professor Rejem Ali, was titled “Historique et cartographie du risque d’inondation :Cas de L’Ouest Algerien” (History and Mapping of Flood Risk: The Case of Western Algeria). The presentation was delivered by Mr. Maouche Said, Director of Research in Algiers (CRAAG), and was well-attended by students and a number of professors.
